In 2022, after eighteen rounds and the first-ever spell-off, I placed second at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, the premier linguistics competition worldwide.
Through this experience and all the preparation that led up to it, I learned an immense amount about linguistics, language patterns, root words, and the beauty of the English language. But what I value the most are the friends I made and the life lessons, grit, perseverance, and discipline I gained.
I hope to pass on the knowledge and experience I gained from my spelling journey to the next generation of spellers through my coaching efforts.
